Spring is the perfect time for a new logo!
We’re cracking the windows in the studio, letting in the light and getting to work on a few new projects. It’s a great time to air out old, stodgy marketing material, renew professional headshots and give your business identity a facelift. We are happy to report that we have several clients that are getting a head start!
First we have Ken Russell of CaveDraw Creative, a gifted career coach based out of West Concord. Ken has a strong connection to the Lascaux cave drawing pictured below—it’s rough and beautiful, holds space for a narrative waiting to be told—a great conversation piece. This image embodies important key elements to Ken’s business and his individual creative approach.
Our goal was to simplify this drawing while retaining the color, texture and original characteristics. We wanted to stylize it a bit with a beautiful brush stroke and create a new image for Ken that would look great in both the web and print space.
Here is what Ken has to say,
“In addition to understanding the graphic strength of the (very ancient!) original, Tara infused this new logo with such movement. And this is exactly what we try to do in coaching: build momentum and forward movement! I’m very pleased with how this turned out.“
What do you think?
Next up is Lisa W. MacDonnell, a lovely Holistic Practitioner also based out of Concord, MA. Lisa has a healthy and well respected practice that she is striving to take to the next level. With an uptick in speaking engagements and marketing efforts, she realized that a new logo was in order. Lisa works with individuals to help them find their inner strength, allowing her clients to heal themselves from the inside out. This was the core idea behind her new logo—strength radiating outward, gently but with great strength. We chose a calm and harmonious color palette and a clean, modern look.
What are your thoughts? We’d love to hear from you!
Next weeks blog: a new round of headshots from the AlchemyThree studio.
